Dump semi-trailers are also known as "tipper" semi-trailers in many parts of the world. In designing dump semi-trailers, both the payload capacity and the nature of the aggregate to be transported, are essential information.

1. Desired payload. Please state whether you are using U.S. or metric tons. You may also state your desired payload in cubic volume (for example, 20 M3 , 25 M3, 30 M3, etc.)
2. Density of the aggregate to be transported (for example, 1000 KGS/M3, 1500 KGS/M3, etc.) If the density is unknown, then you may state the aggregate itself (for example, coal, iron ore, copper ore, dirt, sand, gravel, crushed rock, etc.) Either reply is sufficient. If more than one aggregate is to be transported, please state all of them.
3. Spoke or disc wheels preferred? spoke disc
4. Desired tire size? If unknown, please state some common tire sizes used on trucks and semi-trailers in your country. We will select the proper tire capacity (load range) for you.
5. Spare tire to be included? You may request this as an option.

6. Fifth wheel height of your truck tractor if known. If unknown, we will illustrate a suggested fifth wheel height on our drawing.
7. Does your truck tractor already have a PTO and hydraulic wet line kit? If not, then you have two options: (1) If your truck tractor is in the U.S., the PTO and hydraulic wet line kit can be installed in our factory; (2) We can ship the PTO and hydraulic wet line kit to you, in which case you will have to install it yourself. (Note: a dump semi-trailer cannot operate without a PTO and hydraulic wet line kit).
